Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites you to look into her soul by the food she cooks. It is her food that stirs curiosity. It was born after she stepped outside of the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural landscape that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas can be found to blend seamlessly on the menu, a belief which has evolved over the years. But what remains with her food is an unifying view of the future, while also reminiscing about the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately popular. Lofaso's traditional Italian rendition is widely regarded as one of Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent meals at Scopa which is a favorite of the neighborhood. Customers describe it as authentic and satiating. Lofaso trained under legendary chefs and learned their sophisticated methods but she was not afraid to make bold decisions in order to follow her intuition. In a short time her career, she was at the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated with many famous celebrities while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. The home of Lofaso was located within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso could finally enjoy the creativity she had always longed for. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, and this is its intention. It would start with potato chips flavored with dill, Shishito peppers, and follow up with Korean wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling assortment of flavours is Antonia. Lofaso evaluated her career success in part by her ability to both understand and be genuine to her audience. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars emphasized her ability to express her self outside of the culinary environment. In the years since she's maintained her career in front of cameras as a CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso teamed with Penguin for the release of The Busy mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Fast Delicious home-cooked Meals in 2012. This cookbook also tells about her struggles when raising Xea and studying at her school, the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso claims that the motivation to her achievement comes from the kitchen. This is the way she maintains a constant pulse of the latest happenings. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress by blending style with function. Her main focus is to stay committed to her goals. With this in mind she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with an extremely personal experience.
