Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular member of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone had also played her husband, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her character after Barone left the show to pursue full-time work. Barone was the lead in The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home, from 2005-2007. Barone was co-starring alongside Daddio in 2000.
